Applying GB/T 18369 starts with confirming the edition named in the contract, the product scope, and any purchaser-specific additions. Material system, dimensions, pressure or temperature rating, manufacturing route, and service environment should be mapped to the clauses that actually apply. Before testing, the inspection and test plan should define sampling frequency, specimen conditioning, calibrated equipment, witness points, acceptance criteria, and retest rules. A traceable report records sample and batch identity, the method and edition used, environmental conditions, raw observations, calculations, measurement uncertainty where relevant, deviations, and the decision against each requirement.
