Determines short-time hydraulic failure pressure of thermoplastic pipe/tubing/fittings and reinforced thermosetting/thermoplastic pipe. Procedure A - burst pressure with failure mode; Procedure B - minimum burst compliance. Default time-to-failure window 60–70 s. For QC and procurement specifications. Results generally not indicative of long-term strength.
