First Principles Analysis
1. Scope
This specification covers high-pressure fiberglass line pipe and downhole tubing made from thermosetting resin and glass fiber reinforcement. Pressure ratings range from 3.45 MPa (500 psi) to 34.5 MPa (5,000 psi). Only mechanically coupled (8RD threaded) joints are covered. Typical applications include water injection, oil transmission, and downhole tubing in the oil and gas industry.
